BENSENVILLE, IL-Quality magazine has added two new members to its staff. Rebecca Hennessy has joined as editor and Maggie McFadden is the new associate editor. Both bring extensive experience to the magazine and Thomas Williams, publisher of Quality, is excited about their joining the staff. "This is a wonderful step forward for Quality magazine. Rebecca and Maggie are well-qualified to take on the new projects and new ways we will be reaching our readers in the coming year."
Hennessy has a background in magazine publishing as well as in media relations. She has authored many articles on standards, environmental issues, electronics and materials science. She has a solid background, in public, business and consumer communications, of bringing complex issues to an understandable level for her reading audience. "Rebecca has taken difficult, technical subjects and translated them to information that can be used by people on the job. That's a valuable asset," says Williams.
McFadden recently completed her graduate degree in journalism, and has experience in both consumer publications and engineering journals. She launched a publication at Syracuse University that was the first of its kind. "Maggie knows the attention to detail that is required in everything we do at Quality. I look forward to her sharing her past experience in publishing with the staff and our readers," says Williams.
Both Hennessy and McFadden are anxious to hear from readers and look forward to working within the manufacturing sector.
Quality magazine is the leader in bringing its 64,000 subscribers the most sought after information about measurement, test and inspection in a manufacturing environment.
