NASHVILLE, TN-The sixth annual International Dimensional Workshop will be held May 10 to 14, 2004, at the Nashville Marriott Hotel near the Nashville International Airport. The workshop will be proceeded by the second National Requirements Day for Dimensional Metrology co-hosted by the Oak Ridge Metrology Center and NCSL International. The various DOD, DOE labs and NIST, as well as industry representatives, will try to complete the document on where they think dimensional metrology is going and what will be needed for that plan to reach fruition.
The workshop begins on a theme of "Dimensional Metrology for Functional Control" with a keynote address by Dr. Mark Malburg. In addition to Malburg, there will be more than 15 speakers presenting papers on various subjects including, gear measurements, accreditation and laser scanning.
