When talking about processes and innovation it’s easy to confuse ‘process innovation’ and ‘innovation process.’ Both are important elements of a thriving organization, and it’s important to understand the differences and utilize each of them effectively.

The dedicated and selfless ASQ member leaders are the primary reason why the society is able to fulfill its mission of: empowering individuals and communities of the world to achieve excellence through quality.

Over the years and many incidents (accidents, injuries, failures, nonconformances) later, I’ve come to recognize that there are many contributing factors to an incident. The key is the corrective action taken. Does the corrective action prevent the incident from recurring? 

We are living in a world of constant, accelerating change. Organizations must continually adapt or risk becoming obsolete.
