X-Ray Detectors

Dectris introduced three new performance classes; the PILATUS3 R, S, and X series, based on the PILATUS3 Hybrid Photon Counting technology. The new detectors extend Dectris’ product portfolio and offer performance for a wide range of X-ray applications and users.
 

The PILATUS3 S and X series are aimed at synchrotron applications, whereas the PILATUS3 R series brings all advantages of Hybrid Photon Counting technology to the laboratory. The entire set of features enabling best possible data quality is common to all PILATUS3 detectors: Dectris instant retrigger technology for unsurpassed count rates and accurate count rate correction; absence of readout noise and dark current; direct detection of X-rays for a sharpest possible point-spread function.
