is acquired by Thomas V. Fernandes, president and CEO of AirTronics Gage & Machine (Elgin, IL). Terms of the acquisition were not released. Air Gage, which celebrates its 40th anniversary this year, has a 60,000-square-foot facility, including an A2LA-accredited metrology facility

in Michigan.

"This move will allow us to concentrate on our core area of expertise, which is the application, design and installation of precision gaging systems," says Fernandes. "We intend to work with our customers on projects large and small, from initial project specification to final installation in total conformance with product part approval process tool verification specifications."
