Mahr Federal Names CEO

Tony Picone

PROVIDENCE, RIMahr Federal Inc., a U.S. subsidiary of the German-based Carl Mahr Holding GmbH, announces Tony Picone as its chief executive officer and president. Picone, formerly the company's COO and CFO, replaces former CEO Craig Crossley.

"I am very much looking forward to the opportunities available to Mahr Federal," says Picone. He adds that he sees no immediate changes in the sales strategy of the dimensional metrology products manufacturing and marketing company, and he is optimistic about the future.

Picone joined the company in 2001. Prior to Mahr Federal, Picone's work experience includes the Department of Defense, executive vice president and general manager of Fry Technology, and several senior financial and operations management positions with Invensys Group.
