ROSEMONT, IL-More than 11,000 manufacturing professionals convened at the 24th annual Assembly Technology Expo, Sept. 23 to 25, making it one of the largest assembly events in years, according to show organizers.
The three-day event, sponsored by Assembly Magazine (sister publication to Quality), featured almost 600 companies exhibiting products ranging from advanced robotic systems to hand tools.
"Assembly Technology Expo is a reflection of the industry," says Kelvin Marsden-Kish, producer of the event. "It is encouraging for all of us in manufacturing to see the amount of activity and quality of the attendees that were present at this year's show."
The next assembly trade show, Assembly Technology Expo 2004, is scheduled for Sept. 27 to 30, 2004, at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL. For more information on this show, as well as other 2004 Assembly events, visit www.atexpo.com.
