-Power Fasteners Inc. (Brewster, NY) has expanded its engineering capabilities with the appointment of Patrick D. Buckley as staff engineer. Buckley earned a bachelor's degree in industrial technology from Central Connecticut State University. Also, Mark Ziegler, director of engineering services, has received his certification as a professional engineer. Ziegler oversees the company's comprehensive design professional programs, including code approvals, technical documentation, training, field calls and engineering seminars.-Nylok Corp. (Macomb, MI) appoints Rick A. Kuyat as operations manager for the processing facility in Macomb, MI. Kuyat joined Nylok in February 2005 as plant manager in Macomb after serving 18 years in various semi-conductor manufacturing positions. As operations manager, he will have manufacturing responsibilities for the line of Nylok fastener products.
-Arnco (South Gate, CA) appoints Mike Fullen as product and sales training manager. Fullen joined Arnco as northeast regional sales manager in 2000, and has more than 38 years experience in the tire industry.
-Tom Larson, sales engineer at Trek Inc. (Medina, NY), was designated an "ESD Certified Professional - Program Manager" by the Electrostatic Discharge Association (ESDA). Larson was one of the first six individuals to attain such status from this certification program. According to the ESDA, this certification represents a thorough knowledge of the core competencies for ESD control.
-Colder Products Co. (St. Paul, MN) announces that Rick Garber has been promoted to vice president of marketing. Garber, who developed Colder's Radio Frequency Identification capabilities and has become an advocate for smart technology, will oversee all of Colder's global marketing and sales support efforts. A six-year veteran at Colder, Garber most recently served as the smart technology business unit manager.
-Apriso Corp. (Long Beach, CA) appoints three software industry veterans to operations executive posts. Mark Gonia is vice president of field operations, Americas, and will manage sales, presales and partner development efforts in the United States and Latin America. Yves Vergnolle has been promoted to vice president and managing director of EMEA operations, and will work out of Apriso's Paris office. He will oversee sales, presales, partner relations and implementation services activities in the region. Chris Chung has been named vice president of field operations for the Asia-Pacific region. He has held executive positions with multinational software vendors in Taiwan, Singapore and South Korea.
