Carlsbad, CA-APS Dynamics Inc., designer and manufacturer of vibration shakers and systems for modal test excitation, low frequency calibration and component test, has sold its assets and product line to Spektra (Dresden, Germany), designer and manufacturer of vibration and acoustic calibration systems.

Ken Metzgar, founder of APS, explains, “It was very important to us that the company purchasing APS Dynamics have the technical ability to continue producing the current products as well as a strong commitment to providing customer support, which has been an important part of our business. Spektra was an excellent choice for meeting these criteria.”
