MINNEAPOLIS, November 18-Laser Design Inc., supplier of 3-D laser scanners, has signed a distribution agreement with 3-D measurement solutions provider Quality Measurement Technology (QMT) in Auburn, WA, to meet increased demand for its Surveyor 3-D laser scanning systems throughout the northwestern United States.
The Surveyor 3-D scanning system is used for inspection as well as reverse engineering and computer-aided design (CAD) modeling for product design and development in many industries.
The QMT distributorship will showcase and demonstrate Laser Design’s portable Surveyor-FA (Faro-arm) scanner and its Surveyor WS-Series scanning system to area customers. The portable Faro-Arm system is available with an 8-inch laser line scanner.
