PHOENIX-CIS Software, provider of business management software solutions, is presenting its 2009 Quality Symposium, to be held at the Embassy Suites, May 11 to 13, 2009, in Phoenix.

“Collaboration, Learning and Execution” is the theme of the event, and the intention is that attendees collaborate with colleagues, learn solutions and leave with tools and knowledge that will help them implement solutions and change-with continual improvement as the objective.

The event will showcase industry leaders, exhibitors and round table discussions for the benefit of manufacturers, service industries, warehousing and logistics, agricultural and food industries, and quality consultants. The event is predicated on the idea that the key to success is to learn from experience and not to repeat known mistakes. That is the reason why the organizers are bringing together many industries to one meeting spot, providing an opportunity to exchange and share information and experiences.

The keynote address will be given by quality consultant and comedian Mike Micklewright, who will be performing his “What Would Deming Say” impersonation, which focuses on continuous improvement. Additionally, many other professionals will be speaking on topics relevant to the current challenges faced by all organizations. Concurrent speaker tracks offer attendees a choice in regard to which topics and issues they wish to learn about. In addition, there will be ample networking time.

Additional workshops and activities also will be offered, such as a golf event, closing dinner and activities for spouses.
