SOUTHFIELD, MI-The Automotive Industry Action Group (AIAG) has quality core tools courses available. The courses verify that suppliers have the knowledge to perform applicable core tools process and provide formal recognition of proficiency within and a comprehension of APQP/PPAP, FMEA, MSA and/or SPC.
Successful completion of a quality core tool certification exam verifies that a supplier has a foundation for meeting the competency requirements as defined in ISO/TS 16949 clauses and applicable quality core tool manuals. A supplier may become certified to one, all or a combination of the quality core tools.
Certification requires successful completion of both a knowledge and application exam.
