ANAHEIM, CA – Verisurf Software Inc., a California-based software development company specializing in computer-aided inspection and manufacturing software for a variety of industries, offered a donation of 24 seats of software (valuing a total $528,000) in exchange for Cerritos College paying to have one faculty member trained in the Verisurf software as well as produce a series of hands on training videos featuring the capabilities of the software that our students can use as well as other Verisurf customers. The instructor, Yannick Real, was selected to attend the training, create videos showing the basics of the program and some hands-on applications as well as assist with the installation process.
Cerritos College Economic Development and the Machine Tool Technology department said the collaboration will benefit the departments for years to come because the campus has been designated as the beta test site for future trainings through Verisurf.
