WHEELING, IL–DGI Supply , a DoALL company, has signed a letter of intent to purchase all outstanding shares of Midwest Industrial Tools Inc (MIT). The owners expect the deal to be finalized by May 1. Allan Chartier, president and CEO of MIT, will remain with the company through the transition.
“We are thrilled to join MIT’s talented team with ours,” says DoALL CEO Bill Henricks. “Their technical sales force and value added services are the perfect strategic fit.”
DGI Supply intends to broaden the inventory in MIT’s 30,000-square-foot facility in Omaha, NB and plans to use order fulfillment operations to supplement DGI’s logistics network. “The combined inventory will improve service levels and DGI’s automated systems will improve efficiency while reducing errors,” Henricks says. “With the MIT account managers providing the same high level of technical support and now offering better service and logistics, this move is a strong positive for MIT customers.”
