This is the second consecutive year that Conam’s Signal Hill, CA, facility has been recognized by ExxonMobil for its safety record. The Conam team experienced no OSHA recordable incidents, no first aid incidents and no vehicle, equipment or procedural violations.
Ron Hazzard, general manager of Conam’s Signal Hill, CA, division, states, “This division has always made safety their first priority and it shows. We are working to provide recognition to sites where safety has been exemplified. I feel this recognition strongly encourages safety by recognizing everyone’s efforts. We are especially thankful to ExxonMobil for recognizing our safe work practices and reinforcing the safety and quality consciousness that motivates our employees to continue to work safely.”
Of the Nadcap accreditation, Nick Sowa, vice president of sales and marketing, says, “This audit approval opens new opportunities with prime and subprime aerospace and automotive manufacturers. We now have the ability to improve the quality process that meets prime manufacturer requirements along with upgrading our overall status within affiliate members of Nadcap.”
