BENSENVILLE, IL-TheQualityMeasurement Conference (formerly MMCW) will celebrate its 10th anniversary in 2008, with the inauguralQualityNDT Conference taking place in conjunction. The conferences will be held at the Marriott Suites Resort on Sand Key, Clearwater, FL, April 28 through May 1, 2008.

Each day begins with a general session for attendees of both conferences, featuring keynote speakers Dean Beutel, Caterpillar Corp., on day one, and Dr. Kenneth Russell, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), on day two. Attendees will then proceed to workshops at either the QMC or QNDTC.

In addition, attendees have the opportunity for a behind-the-scenes tour of Lockheed Martin’s MS2 Tactical Systems facility in Oldsmar, FL, which provides manufacturing to Department of Defense design agents across the United States. Its award winning full-service manufacturing includes producibility and testability evaluations, supply chain management, material requirements planning, electronic manufacturing and testing, environmental stress screening (ESS), and lifecycle support. The application of Lean/Six Sigma is embedded in its culture and is a key enabler to its success.
