WINDSOR, ONTARIO - Four complementary custom automation and specialty services companies in Windsor/Essex County formed CAPX – Custom Automation Partnership Experts – with the support of Canada's National Research Council’s Industrial Research Assistance Program (IRAP). IRAP premier innovation and technology assistance program provides financial, technological and networking assistance has proven to be successful for the CAPX group, who recently deployed a successful robotic gaging system for a large corporation.

Representing decades of experience, CAPX members work as a team to successfully combine their expertise in system integration, gaging, IT infrastructure and custom machinery capabilities delivering specialty solutions to manufacturers in North America and Mexico, which has created great interest to a variety of manufacturers looking for companies with a wide range of scope and capabilities that CAPX represents.

Currently there are four members of CAPX: Radix Controls, with 16 years of expertise in advanced technology solutions for productivity improvement, cost-reduction, traceability and quality for manufacturing; Landau Gage, designing and building creative, cost effective measurement and gaging solutions since 1978; Ro-Matt, designers and builders of custom machinery, automation and material handling systems for a variety of high technology sectors since 1985; and Next Dimension, bringing years of shop floor integration experience to the group, and strongly positioned to deliver technology solutions.
