The SAM 400 Press Force Signature Analysis Module is a multi-station instrument for any press force monitoring operation. It can handle up to two independent press station operations, with each station programmable to 32 parts and eight tolerance windows. Up to six additional stations can be programmed through the display, with the addition of up to three slave units. Additional features and specifications include forward and backward measurement capability; two channels of force measurement: analog, strain gage or piezo; two channels of distance measurement: inductive, resistive, analog, incremental or SSI; torque: strain gage or analog, angle: incremental; and a range of communication possibilities: Ethernet, serial, parallel, Profibus and Fieldbus.
