NORTH KINGSTOWN, RI, June 9-Hexagon Metrology Inc., maker of metrology hardware and software, has acquired Sheffield CMM products distributor Advanced Metrology Solutions. The company is a distributor of precision metrology products in a nine-state territory, stretching from Michigan to Florida. Besides Sheffield, the company also sells other Hexagon Metrology brands including Romer portable arm measuring systems, Tesa precision hand tools and PC-DMIS software.
