ISSAQUAH, WA-The Coordinate Metrology Society, a membership association for measurement professionals, has announced its call for papers for the 25th Coordinate Metrology Systems Conference (CMSC). The annual event will be held in Louisville, KY, from July 20 to 24, 2009.
Metrology users from leading manufacturers and science laboratories are invited to submit abstracts for white papers illustrating their successful application of 3-D coordinate measurement systems. Submissions will be reviewed by the Coordinate Metrology Society and considered for presentation at CMSC 2009. The deadline for abstracts is April 10, 2009. Notification of acceptance will occur on April 24, 2009.

In 2008, a full three days of high-level white papers were delivered by industry leaders from United Space Alliance, Fermilab, Spirit AeroSystems, Smithsonian Institution, The Royal Institute of Technology, The Boeing Co., Richard Childress Racing, General Motors, University of Michigan, SNC Lavalin Nuclear, Lockheed Martin, Hitachi Engineering, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and other professionals in the field of metrology.
