HATFIELD, PA-Key Instruments, a division of Brooks Instrument, is celebrating its 50th anniversary. Founded in 1959, Key Instruments began as a manufacturer of injection-molded parts for various industries. In the 1970s, Key Instruments began focusing exclusively on the manufacture of high-grade flow meters, starting with acrylic flow meters, and then expanded to include molded flow meters, glass flow meters, electronic flow meters and more.
Today, the Key Instruments flow meter manufacturing facility in Trevose, PA, is one of the largest in the world.
“The past 50 years has been great for Key Instruments,” says Donald Frick, president, Key Instruments. “It’s exciting that in the year we turn 50 we also start a new chapter at Key with recently being acquired by Brooks Instrument. We’re looking forward to continuing to grow our business with the Brooks sales channel for the next 50 years and more.”
