The FlatScope scanner provides inspection of flat workpieces and extrusion profiles in a production environment. The main area of application is in the measurement of complex profiles as well as stamped parts, laser cut profiles and circuit boards. The machine has an area of measurement of up to 650 millimeters. Larger measuring ranges can be supplied on request. The machine comes with an image-processing sensor with telecentric or zoom optics. Completely automatic measurement of complicated, extremely low-contrast work pieces in backlight and surface illumination also can be done. In grid scanning mode, the entire measuring area can be scanned quickly and all geometrical characteristics recorded and evaluated.
