A robotic inspection system designed for a range of medical device and precision industrial part inspection is available. The system includes a Denso articulated arm robot, part gripper, Cognex machine vision camera and/or Keyence laser gaging or profiling sensor. Also included is a customer part-specific in-feed conveyor, good/bad part drop containers, AB programmable logic controller (PLC) and 8-inch color operator interface. Optional items typically include: bar code scanner for part number and quantity entry, industrial PC for pass/fail data collection and operator password entry and logging. Larger robotic systems are available as required by application.
