PolyWorks V11 offers probing-related tools such as multiple coordinate system and alignment history management, teaching and offline programming of feature probing tasks, multiple device position handling, and manual coordinate measuring machine (CMM) support. This latest version of the software has integrated statistical process control (SPC) methodologies; a new alignment technique that brings a measured part within a tolerance band to ensure the manufacturability of a casting and help balance the casting position on a machining tool; access to a complete virtual fixturing solution; and new offset cross-section object, enhanced caliper technology and a geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) upgrade that includes tolerance zone mobility modifiers and surface profiles.
