ANAHEIM, CA - The Medical Device and Manufacturing (MD&M) West show was a core component of the largest design and manufacturing event in the Western United States.
Attendees with an MD&M West badge received complimentary admission - without additional registration - to six industry-related, co-located shows: WestPack, Pacific Design & Manufacturing, Electronics West, Plastec West, Automation Technology Expo (ATX) and Green Manufacturing Expo. The Anaheim Convention Center hall was massive-and full. Attendees had a chance to meet with an additional 1,500 suppliers featuring 200,000 square feet of products, equipment, systems and services of interest to medical manufacturers.
In addition to exhibitors, the show offered several well attended presentations on the show floor, including those by the Lean Factory Group. The organization presented 90-minute educational sessions that aimed to provide a roadmap to Lean success. The group told attendees that Lean takes training, and quoted Aristotle: "We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit."
For nearly 30 years, MD&M has been a trusted source for what’s next in medical product development. MD&M East will take place June 8 to 12, 2010, at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York. For more information, click here.
