ORION, MI -Applied Manufacturing Technologies (AMT), a supplier of factory automation design, engineering and process consulting services, has appointed Richard Saro to the role of automotive account manager. Saro will be supporting and partnering with new and existing customers to develop solutions for the company's robotic automation customers in the automotive industry. Reporting to General Manager Andy Jones, Saro's responsibilities will include all aspects of account management, sales planning and execution.

Prior to joining AMT, Saro held global program and project management positions at Rockwell Automation and Comau Pico Inc., where he was responsible for managing multiple projects for leading automotive manufacturers such as Daimler, Ford, and GM. Saro is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) having received his PMP certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI).
