Comet North America relocates to an expanded headquarters in Stamford, CT

STAMFORD, CT-Comet North America, a supplier of X-ray, RF and dosimetry solutions, relocates to an expanded headquarters in Stamford, CT. The newly renovated 12,000-plus square-foot facility serves as the center of excellence for the company's vacuum capacitor, dosimetry, industrial X-ray products and Feinfocus microfocus X-ray inspection systems and services.

The site is located at the previous headquarters of Feinfocus USA, and was chosen as the new site for the newly integrated Comet operations because of the facility expansion potential and convenient location. The expanded facility includes two application labs, testing and repair facilities for RF and X-ray products, more than 6,000 square-feet of warehouse capacity, and additional meeting and office accommodations. The relocation follows Comet's April 2004 acquisition of Feinfocus.

In other company news, Comet promotes Jon Dupree to Feinfocus business manager. Dupree is responsible for sales and strategic planning for the Fein-focus microfocus and nanofocus X-ray inspection systems in the Americas. Prior to his promotion, Dupree was regional sales manager and SMT product specialist for Feinfocus, managing the line of X-ray inspection systems in the northern United States and eastern Canada. He is located at the North America headquarters in Stamford, CT.
