CHARLESTON, SC - The American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT) will host its annual Fall Conference & Quality Testing Show, Great Expectations in NDT, November 10 to 14, 2008.
The 2008 conference features more than 100 papers, covering a range of relevant NDT topics including aerospace, manufacturing, ultrasonics, magnetic particle, penetrant, digital radiography and thermography.
Attendees also have the chance to attend the Lester Honor Award Lecture keynote addresss, "The Business of NDT is Business," presented by Dr. Robert R. Doggart, Doggart & Associates LLC. One of the plenary addresses will be "The Use of Computed Radiography on the Hunley Project: A Versatile Technology for Complex Applications," presented by Paul Mardikian, head conservator Hunley Project, Clemson University Conservation Center. "The Value of an NDT Career" will be the other plenary address, presented by Michael Serabian, president of PQNDT Inc.
Show hours are Monday, 5 to 8 p.m.; Tuesday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
