Mike and Joan McVaugh, co-owners of Laboratory Testing Inc. and siblings, were named the 2010 "Champion Family Business Learning Community Builders" by the Delaware Valley Family Business Center. The award was presented to the co-owners of the materials testing, nondestructive testing and calibration laboratory at the Business Center’s November meeting. As the 2nd recipients of this annual award, the McVaughs were recognized for having encouraged other family businesses to join them in preparing their next generation of family members for success. The McVaugh Family and Laboratory Testing Inc. have been active members of the Delaware Valley Family Business Center for the last 16 years and have presented their learning experiences and success stories at membership meetings on several occasions.
