DORVAL, QUEBEC, CANADA – Matrox Imaging will offer a series of free machine vision seminars on November 4 and 5, 2008 during next month’s Vision show at the Neue Messe Stuttgart, in Stuttgart, Germany.
Presented in English, several seminars will highlight the latest features of the Matrox Imaging Library 9.0 (MIL), the collection of software tools for developing industrial imaging applications. Topics include: how MIL 9 takes advantage of multi-core CPU, GPU and FPGA technology to offload and accelerate image processing, color analysis, and 3D imaging. A seminar that describes how to use and develop FPGA configurations with Matrox Imaging FDK 2.0 will also be offered in English.
Presented in both English and German, the Matrox Design Assistant seminar will demonstrate the ease of developing applications with the Matrox Design Assistant integrated development environment and Matrox Iris E-Series smart camera. Non-programmers will see how to set up image capture and perform operations such as location, measurement, reading, part identification, and communication and I/O - all within a single intuitive flowchart-based graphical user interface.
These technical seminars give attendees the opportunity to see the newest Matrox Imaging technology firsthand, as well as time to discuss their applications with our staff.
Attendees should register before the event. For more information and registration, visit the Matrox Web site.
