BOSTON - For the launch of the new version of the machine vision software Halcon 9.0, three user seminars took place in Japan in Kyoto, Nagoya, and Tokyo at the end of February. These seminars were hosted by LinX Corp. (Yokohama), the exclusive distributor of Halcon in Japan.

About 600 decision makers and engineers from the Japanese industry took part in the seminars. Topics were the focused training in the comprehensive innovations of Halcon 9.0. Accompanying to the talks, Japanese companies showcased their latest machine vision solutions implemented with Halcon. MVTec software GmbH, manufacturer of Halcon, cooperates with distribution companies that represent machine vision in their particular country.
