The Y.Cheetah is an X-ray imager that combines the company’s Feinfocus X-ray technology with high-speed flat panel detector technology. The imager uses synchronized tube and detector motion, providing constant image contrast at high resolution. In addition, the imager enables the repositioning of imaging components at constant magnification for higher contrast and power, lower noise as well as fast imaging and 3-D scanning. The imager is well suited for failure analysis, research and development, process control and production testing. The system can be configured to perform single to multiple part inspections, manual to one-click series inspections, 2-D to high-speed microfocus computed tomography, as well as other functions, such as the Y.T&R module for tape and reel inspection.
