BARRINGTON, NJ - Edmund Optics (EO) welcomes two new employees to their global sales team. Helge Vogt has been named the new key account manager for Edmund Optics Germany and Anthony Artigliere has taken a leadership role as the new manager of inside sales, North American sales. They each bring more than 20 years of experience in the optics field.
"We are very fortunate to have these two highly experienced and skilled members of the optics industry join our team," says Allan Kreutzer, vice president of global sales. "EO looks forward to increased service and leadership resulting from the proven strengths and management expertise of both Helge and Anthony."
In his capacity as key account manager for Germany, Helge Vogt will also service Austria and Switzerland, providing world-class sales and customer support to all German-speaking customers. His main objectives will be to focus on customer relations, establish new managed accounts, and continue to provide superior service for existing managed accounts.
When asked about his new position, Vogt replies, "I will work one-on-one with the customers - whether they want standard components or customized products, I will serve the customer with all requested information and quotes. My target is to establish a trustful, long-term relationship with the customer to ensure EO's success." In order to best serve his customers, Vogt also recognizes the need to maintain close relationships with EO engineers in different locations with different specialties. He brings with him more than 20 years of experience in worldwide sales. Vogt also has a graduate engineering degree from University of Applied Science RheinMain Wiesbaden.
As manager of inside sales, North America, Anthony Artigliere embraces the responsibilities that come with running an established sales organization. Artigliere plans to integrate solutions engineers into the sales team bringing the company's cutting-edge technology closer to the customer. He will also work closely with the field sales team to target and penetrate new industrial and commercial markets and applications. Artigliere looks forward to working directly with OEMs and hosting onsite customer visits. From design to prototype to volume production for custom and standard optical components, he will assist both his team and EO's customers to meet their individual needs.

Artigliere comes to EO with over 20 years of marketing and sales management experience with companies such as Melles Griot and Meadowlark Optics, and holds a BS Degree in Physics from Albright College.
