ROTTERDAM, THE NETHERLANDS - The Applus RTD Group, a multinational nondestructive testing and inspection through to asset integrity management company, announces the acquisition of two companies specialized in inspections and nondestructive testing: Quality Inspection Services (QISI, New York) and Staveley (Ontario, Canada). These operations, together with the acquisition of JanX (Parma, MI) in 2008 and of Technico (Warren, OH) in 2009, reinforce the company’s commitment to the North American market, where it has been present for two decades with a large workforce.
The Applus RTD Group is strengthening its geographical position in the United States and Canada as well as in different application fields like oil and gas, power plants, refineries, storage tanks and the petrochemical industry. The head office for Applus RTD in the United States is in Houston; for Applus RTD Canada in Edmonton.
Non-Destructive Testing and Inspection (NDT&I) is part of the full services approach that Applus RTD brings to the market as asset integrity services. Applus RTD has provided NDT&I since 1937.
