RICHMOND, CANADA-Camera manufacturer Point Grey Research Inc. has relocated its corporate headquarters to a larger two-acre property in Richmond, minutes from the Vancouver International airport. The new 41,000-square-foot facility is triple the size of the previous building.

Point Grey also has joined machine vision software supplier Cognex in its Acquisition Alliance program, which is designed to strengthen the strategic partnership between both vendors to better serve customers using Cognex VisionPro software and Point Grey digital video cameras. Key components of the program include the integration of Point Grey cameras with the Cognex VisionPro software, VisionPro camera qualification and testing, and product cross training.
