JACKSON, MS—TÜV Rheinland Industrial Solutions Inc. (TRIS) has opened a new testing operation in Richland, MSEquipped with a variety of nondestructive evaluation (NDE) equipment, the new 3,000-square-foot facility provides testing, inspection and certification of materials, components and structures. The services feature a full range of NDE tests, including computed radiography, film radiography, ultrasonic, magnetic particle, visual, phased array and positive material identification (PMI) tests. TRIS is the only inspection company in the area.
Located near the crossroads of Interstate 55, Interstate 20, and the historic Natchez Trace Parkway, Richland is well-positioned to serve the local Department of Transportation, automotive manufacturers, commercial contractors, fabricators, machine shops, refineries and other businesses. The region’s manufacturers are well within reach of TRIS field testing capabilities.

The new operation is located at 199 Interstate Drive, Suite A, in Richland, MS, and will be managed by Daniel Britt. Britt has 11 years of experience in the NDE field, is a certified welding inspector and is Level II certified in radiography, ultrasonic, magnetic particle, penetrant, and phased array testing.
