A new patented device from Q-Mark allows users to quickly position CMM adapter plate mounting cubes to any angle. Called the Cube Squared Plus, the design permits unlimited axial rotation of the cube. Q-Mark’s earlier design, called the Cube Squared, allowed the user to quickly position the cube square to the CMM’s X and Y axes.
The Cube Squared Plus improves on their earlier design by allowing the cube to be positioned at any angle. It uses an engraved protractor and a series of ball detents to aid the user in obtaining the angle desired. The process takes one minute or less to complete.
