ALLENTOWN, PA — George Ferrio, owner of Micro Photonics Inc., announced new structural changes for the company.
George Ferrio, who started the company in 1992, has taken a new role in the company as the CEO and CFO. He will continue to head the Micro Photonics team into the future.
Ferrio also elevated former General Manager Timothy Sledz to president and COO. Sledz has been with the company for 18 years and has been an integral part of the company’s growth. His role is to take the company into new territory by adding product lines and streamlining the existing business.
Other changes were instilled to incorporate the company goals for 2015. Benjamin Ache will be head of the Micro Photonics expert division of Micro-CT. He has been with the company for 10 years has the honor of leading a great group of micro-CT specialists with a combined 20-plus years of experience.
Researchers at universities, national research facilities, and corporate R&D centers throughout the United States have been partnering with Micro Photonics to advance scientific research since 1992.
