PARIS — The Spanish company Tecnatom will show its first commercial system using phased array technology for through-transmission ultrasonics inspection (PA TTU), that notably reduces the scanning time of components.
Tecnatom participates with its own booth (Hall 1, E322) at the Spanish Pavilion, organized by the Spanish Association of Defense, Aeronautics, Security and Space Technology Companies (TEDAE) in collaboration with the Spanish Institute for Foreign Trade (ICEX).
June 15th starts the 51st edition of the International Paris Air Show-Le Bourget, one of the aerospace events of reference within the sector, and this year more
than 2,200 exhibitors from 47 countries will be present.
On this occasion, Tecnatom presents its new technology that provides high productivity during the inspection activities. For
example, the first commercial system using phased array technology for inspection by trasound transmission (PA TTU), which significantly reduces the time of scanning components.
The event Paris Air Show represents a great opportunity to show the latest advances of Tecnatom in aerospace, especially in the development and delivery of NDT systems: inspection cells integrated in the manufacturing process to ensure quality and NDT equipment development for manual or automated inspection in maintenance activities. Tecnatom also provides technical support during lifecycle of components through technical consultancy, specifications, development procedures and the realization of the own inspection of components in its facilities or at customer sites components in its facilities or at customer sites.
