WARREN, MI — Milco Manufacturing is celebrating a milestone anniversary in October. Since opening its manufacturing facility in 1950, the company has grown to become an international leader in resistance welding with more than 80 employees in their Michigan office and 125 employees internationally.
Roy Beach, Clyde Slade, Jim Knowles and Bill Stoffer started Milco Manufacturing in a small converted hamburger stand where they laid the foundation for their true manufacturing philosophy – keeping all elements in-house to ensure high quality and precision.
Today, the company is in the hands of third-generation leadership. Jeff Beach, who joined the company in 1995, serves as general partner. Beach said, “It is amazing to think back to our roots and see how far we have come and how much the company has grown, both in Michigan and around the world.”
The Michigan Economic Development Corporation, on behalf of Governor Rick Snyder, will be awarding a plaque to commemorate Milco’s 65-year commitment to creating jobs in Michigan.
John Pippin, general manager for Milco Manufacturing commented, “We are thrilled to be celebrating such a great milestone for our company. It is an honor to be able to share our growth and accomplishments with our employees and the Macomb business community. Our company is in an exciting phase and will continue to grow and innovate in the years to come.”
Milco Manufacturing is a leading full-service, international supplier of resistance welding equipment. The company provides a wide range of standard and specialty welding products made to meet and exceed the needs of their customers.
