QT9 Software launched QT9 QMS Version 16.0, adding two new modules and numerous improvements to its quality management software (QMS). A dedicated Product Design Control module and Quality Events Management module add more ways for organizations to centralize and connect quality processes to an already comprehensive solution, automating functionality for more than 25 different operations.
“We value our customers and look to their interests when making product enhancements,” says QT9 Software President Brant Engelhart. “This latest version of QT9 QMS reinforces our commitment to providing customers with a comprehensive, scalable quality management system that fully meets their needs.”
The new Product Design Controls module provides the ability to easily build templates for any design control process, including Design History Files (DHF). Teams can build out complete design and development packages with customizable phases, and connect all their quality records.
The new Quality Events Management module enables quality teams to investigate, track and log any type of quality event within a closed-loop environment. Users are able to easily connect corrective actions, nonconforming products, customer feedback and deviations to any quality event. Teams can capture, prioritize and standardize quality events for greater control and consistency.
The QT9 QMS Document Control module now offers the option to add target completion dates to document request assignments. Incomplete document requests will appear in the responsible parties’ to-do list beginning five days prior to designated completion date, helping to keep document requests on track.
Universal Enhancements include:
• Approval Groups: Both groups and individuals can be added as approvers to any module records that require approval.
• Configurable Templates: Users can now build and manage audit checklists and associate them to audit processes within the system, as well as print and copy lists. Similarly, users are now able to create project templates to best reflect tasks and phases that are most relevant to their needs.
• Revised User Interface: The header and footer have been refreshed in Version 16.
• Updated Navigation Menu: The navigation menu has been condensed to leave more room on the screen.
