Effectively dealing with rejection can be a challenge. We all face it but that doesn’t make it any easier. Most of us can handle physical pain, but when it comes to rejection or disapproval, it is more about dealing with psychological pain.
Many of us admire people whom we perceive as high achievers. Mostly those people are heads of state, athletes, movie stars, musicians, and the like. However, most of the highest achievers in this world are people most of us have never heard of.
Most of us remember that wonderful children’s story about “The Little Engine That Could”. The story has several versions but the one by Watty Piper was published in the U.S. around 1930. It is a story of optimism and hard work that people of all ages can relate.
