Is it really essential for well experienced certified film radiographers to receive additional formal training and experience? After all, radiography is radiography. In my opinion, the answer is yes!

JAI introduces a new industrial color line scan camera in the Sweep+ Series. The Sweep+ SW-4000T-10GE is a prism-based color line scan camera equipped with three CMOS sensors and a 10 GigE interface including backwards compatibility to 5, 2.5 and 1 Gbps Ethernet standards. 

JAI has introduced the SP-12401-USB, a new 12.4-megapixel camera in its Spark Series of high resolution area scan cameras. Two models are offered – a monochrome model (SP-12401M-USB) and a color model (SP-12401C-USB). Both models are built around the Sony PregiusTM IMX304 CMOS imager, which features 3.45-micron pixels and a dark noise rating of less than 2.5 electrons for excellent image quality even under low light conditions.

The RazerCam LS is a smart line scan camera, which is freely programmable under Linux OS. High data rates are supported by the powerful FPGA and the camera is optimized for high computing power and fast frame rates. 

JAI announced that the company had expanded its Spark Series of high performance industrial area scan cameras with two new models - Spark SP-12000C-CXP4 and Spark SP-12000M-CXP4 (color camera and monochrome camera, respectively).
